In the future, it seems it will be more difficult to live on the Earth. Some people think more money should be spent on researching other planets to live, such as Mars. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Some people believe that there will be a time when living on Earth will become extremely difficult, so, more money should be invested in exploring other planets and the possibilities of living there. In my opinion, I strongly disagree with this viewpoint as more money should be spent on finding ways to reduce the damage being done to the Earth by humans.
To begin with, there is no guarantee we can easily find another planet that we can accommodate and adapt like Earth. For example, researchers studied about extraterrestrial life like Mars for years, but they still cannot confirm that whether humans can live on the other planet or not
Moreover, more money should be spent on finding ways to resolve these environmental problems in order to maintain our life on Earth. Nowadays, our environment is becoming worse day by day and mostly without awareness among citizens. So, raising awareness of people is the most important thing. Besides, money poured into research on another planet should be diverted to those companies that are researching environmentally friendly energy resources.
To conclude, I believe it is impractical to invest in finding another planet to live on. Rather, this budget should be used to improve the environment on Earth.
